THIS IS A DUAL ROLE. 1930's Jack Cross is a chiseled-jawed hard boiled detective, straight out of a gangster film. His writer, Robot Jack Cross, is an AI writer tackling the concept of writing a screenplay. Robot Jack Cross is inquisitive, functionary, with a soul that is learning to come forward in his subconscious. He develops likes and dislike by 'learning' the process of writing. Detective Jack Cross is a private dick with his trench coat, fedora, cigarette and voice over. He's content with life, until he comes face-to-face with a femme fatale.
